One thing I learned from yogi studies is self-massage. A Homedics Shiatsu massager hung around here being useless for years; eventually figured out it can used comfortably on a pillow stack. Yogi’s put tennis balls in a sock. That works too. The electric massager makes subtle winding noises. If that’s bothersome there’s soothing sounds: nature, ocean waves, spring rain (sold separately). There’s also free apps for that. Life can be stressful. Massage therapy helps.
