This fragile looking baby leopard gecko arrived from Pet Solutions in February. He began munching full-sized crickets after a month or two. Now he’s jumping for crickets and growing super fast. This vivarium no longer has the organized, prearranged, every rock in place look. Brisco loves to dig in the orchid moss diving for a bug that probably got away. The moss gets misted whenever he’s shedding. I’m using an ordinary people heating pad that stays on 24/7. It’s set on low and maintains a consistent temperature below the hide and under the 30 gallon tank. This type of heating pad already has a built-in rheostat thermal regulator. I’ve tested it and it feels great. Here’s Brisco after 3 months:
