Spa therapies

23. March 2017 therapies 1

A personal spa involves creating ways to pamper ourself. My idea of pampering is using a diversion to relieve aches and pains. Although I’ve never actually visited a professional spa or resort, home is for recreation, rest, entertainment, and relaxing. With minimal effort and imagination, a personal space can be a sanctuary, a spa, and a private resort. Being surrounded with my favorite things is therapy. Watering my indoor garden is therapeutic. Feeding a couple of tiny Betta fish is simply amusing to me.

People, like animals, are typically accustomed to habitual behaviors. Dining, grooming, resting, playing and working on something I find interesting makes me feel better.

Aroma therapy works well for emotions. Color themes and simplicity does too. An organized simple space is amazing for the nerves. Try it.
